Valentino Benicchio, 1965, Swiss
Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer

Valentino Benicchio has been nominated CEO and CFO of Royal Tag in 2008. Before joining Royal Tag, he was CFO of Datamars, where he had a determing influence on the development of the company into a market leader for solutions in the field of animal identification. From 1987 to 1997 he was CFO at several companies. Valentino Benicchio holds a federal diploma as Certified Accountant. He is auditor of the Industry Association of the Canton of Ticino, member of the Ticino Chamber of Commerce and District President of the FDP Ticino.

Giovanni Riganti, 1972, Italian
Chief Market Officer Livestock

Giovanni Riganti joined Royal Tag in 2009 as CMO in the animal recognition area. From 2004 to 2009 he was responsible for RFID marketing and sales with the CAEN Group in Viareggio (Italy). From 2002 to 2004 he worked in the microelectronics sector with Aurelia Microelettronica SpA. He has a degree in electronic engineering from the Bari Polytechnic University in Italy.

Head of Production

Paolo Milani has joined Royal Tag as Head of Production in 2010. Before joining Royal Tag, he was responsible for the product development at Eral-Teck SA in Cadempino since 1996. From 1990 untiol 1996 he worked in the production of R. Audemars SA. Paolo Milani has a diploma as a machine draughtsman oft he school Arti e Mestieri in Bellinzona.

Andrea Biondi, 1973, Italian
Chief Science Officer

Prof. Dr. Ing. Andrea Biondi became Royal Tag’s Chief Science Officer in 2012. Andrea Biondi has a degree in electronic engineering from La Sapienza University in Rome, where he also completed his PhD. From 1997 to 2003 he was sole director of Mindcom Ingegneria dei Sistemi Srl. From 2003 to 2006 he was Professor of Physics and Environmental Technology at La Sapienza University and at the same time Research and Development Director of the technological and scientific committee within the consortium for animal data in Italy's Ministry of Employment, Health and Agricultural Policy.

Subsequently he was sole director of Biondi Engineering Srl. Biondi was responsible for a number of research projects in the RFID area which were financed by the European Commission and the Italian Ministry for Education and Research. He has published numerous scientific articles on these topics and presented papers at national and international congresses.

Silvia Carbone
Chief Financial Officer

Silvia Carbone joined Royal Tag as Chief Financial officer in 2012.
Since 2006 she was Consolidation responsible and Group accounting Director of Steel Invest & Finance Luxembourg Group, a joint venture between Duferco Group (world leader in the steel trading) and NLMK Group (first Russian steel maker, listed on the London stock exchange), fully acquired by NLMK in 2011.

Before she worked as auditors with PricewatherhouseCoopers (8 years) and Certifica (4 years).
